Study finds trauma effects may linger in body chemistry of next generation

My thanks to a subscriber for sharing this article at PBS.  This supports the Bert Hellinger Family Constellation work idea that patterns can be inherited or carried for several generations.   In our Resonance Repatterning work the “Heal the Family System” set of repatternings addresses this type of pattern.

From the PBS interview with karen Sonneberg….

New research on survivors of the Holocaust shows how catastrophic events can alter our body chemistry, and how these changes can transmit to the next generation. The result? Our children may suffer the effects of a traumatic event they never witnessed. NewsHour’s Stephen Fee has the story.

  1. Hi Carolyn, Do you think there’s a possibility that there could ever be another Family Constellation workshop in South Africa for practitioners who haven’t yet done one yet?
    Kind regards, Jean Campbell.

    • Jean – The repatternings or transformations that Magui Block developed based on Family Constellation work is certainly outstanding training. I would recommend it to all practitioners. Anything is possible (so set an intention!) and while the cost of travel these days may be prohibitive, you may find that she is open to providing the training online. My suggestion is to be touch with her directly. Here is her English website: http://www.maguiblockenglish.com/

      All the best
      Carolyn
