We are in Earth Element energy the inbetween spaces of the seasons and I find myself reflecting on the past few months. Summer seems so fleeting when its over, intermittable when you are in the middle of a hot sticky heat wave. However, in the transition space heading into autumn it is now easier to appreciate all that has been experienced. My tribulations with the apartment construction, yet another computer glitch ( a few weeks back) or the unexpected now yeild to the recent memories of sounds and sights of summer and nature. Thinking about them makes me smile. Here are some of the highlights I’ld like to share with you.
Have you seen our moose video? On our vacation trek we drove through (and then did a u-turn and came back) Algonquin park on Highway #60. The sage advice from the friendly guy at YUMMIES in A JAR (a delightful husband wife team with a dream studio and store) was to time our drive so that we’d be headed back to the cottage through late afternoon or dusk. At that time the larger animals such as bears, moose or deer can be seen foraging on the road sides. So that is what we did and through rain and all managed to stop as did everyone else on Highway #60 to watch a mother moose and her two calfs munching in a swamp. Here is the video my sister perservered to shoot!
