A typical reaction in situations where we feel let down is to cut ourselves off from the relationships involved. The cut-off can be dramatic, obvious and public (perhaps you are unfollowing or unfriending them?) or subtle and gradual over time where we just don’t connect as often. To react and then recover, especially having a conversation with the parties involved where our feelings can be aired is normal and when we do so our field of energy rebounds back, especially the metal element field which governs our sense of connectedness. Our relationships resume with the warmth and bonding levels we previously knew or perhaps deeper with the result of growth from resolving a problem. This kind of connectedness expands our field of energy by feeding our social network and doubling the amplitude of energy for everyone.
However, if we allow our relationship hurts to stock pile and start noticing grievances with all our relationships with a tendancy to keep score, over time we begin to build a deeper metal element pattern of feeling disconnected from people and the world at large. Our relationship to our own nature and true self may also be injured. The incoming light from our social network dims or fades and does not nourish our energy field. We see a little less as our resentments weigh us down and we no longer have the energy for our life intentions, committments or goals. We are not in the present moment.
When our metal element energy has a strong sense of connectedness, it nurtures our water element energy for understanding and helps us control wood element qualities affecting things like project management or decision-making.
If you have a cherished goal you are intending to move forward, use the Do It Yourself – M-MPMP mini repatterning I put out earlier this week, to see where your sense of connectedness is supporting your goal or not. Get in touch with the grievances you may need to let go of and the forgiveness you may need to exercise. Use the cards to energize your intention and help you restore or improve your metal element quality of connection.
How is a sense of connectedness showing up in your life?
