My appreciation to all of you who have had to be flexible with my schedule during the last few weeks as construction is happening outside my window. Amazingly, things seem to be winding up on my side of the high rise building and new balconies will be completed in a week or two. The noisy process of balcony replacement will then start all over again on the other 3 sides of the building and may continue to create problems for daytime work – we’ll wait and see.
I want to share with you some of the energy-in-action things I observed and learned during the process so far. First of all, the noise and vibrations set off by the jack hammering is not good for anyone and I felt it particularly as roaming arthritis flare ups. It got worse as the noise got louder and closer to my floor. So of course… I did a resonance repatterning session on myself to address the situation. The resulting positive action still has me smiling with wonder. The action was to partially close the floor to ceiling while plastic blinds in the living room. There are 3 sections and the two closest to the heart of the construction were to form a V shape. With-in minutes of doing this simple action the arthritis flares subsided, not completely going away but more than enough to forget it was there. The striking shift for me personally, drove home the point that we are vibrational beings fully impacted by the vibrations around us.
However, I was curious why this action would come up. When a positive action is indicated in a session (using the kinesiology muscle checking technique for resonance) I go to a list of options but ultimately have to figure things out at a certain point. To satisfy myself I googled feng shui for construction and found a ton of very useful information. A feng shui expert ( and if you are reading this and YOU ARE – please join in the discussion) may know more about this than what I have learned from my search. What I learned is that there really is something called CONSTRUCTION SHA – literally meaning a sore sight for the eyes. Cures abound but metal element energy cures for my north facing windows meant that my white blinds kept closed was the perfect cure.
I was also reminded about the disrupted shui caused by having to bring in the balcony furnishings into my living room until all was complete. Things were feeling stuck. So for a construction sha ‘cure’ I am doing what I can with plants and decorative rocks to keep nature’s energy flowing around me when construction is unavoidable. In my mind’s eye, this helps to smooth out the sharp and choppy sound vibrations. The over crowded feeling from garden furniture and resulting stuck energy now seems to be dissipating. I also flood my environment with a sound track of bird song native to my area. I swear the birds outside have returned because of it! LOL
As we move through Mother natures transition from Spring to Summer, earth element energy is awakened. Help it along by removing blocks or curing the bad feng shui in your environment. You will feel uplifted. It’s always great to ask a feng shui consultant.
Share you construction story if you have one. How did you fare energetically during a construction or renovation project?
With love and light
